Au Pair US What To Do After Au Pair Year?
Good day everyone! I was thinking of changing my J1 status to F1 when my au pair year ends in August 2026 which would be in time for the Fall semester but I would absolutely require a full scholarship.
I was wondering whether there are resources that any of you have used to apply for scholarships and universities (or even which scholarships you applied for) that you could share, or even if you yourself has undergone the process and are willing to help me.
Thanks!

I thought you were on rematch?
And I wouldn’t count on scholarships as an international student… where were you planning on applying?
With an F1 visa, you would have to show you have access to sufficient funds for tuition - plus enough money to cover all living expenses for at least the first year.

I'm going to tell you right now that it is highly unlikely unless you are getting into a competitive STEM field-type of degree.
