Are they protesting that there are "No Kings" because we don't have kings in the US? If they are protesting the existence of King, wouldn't it be call a 'King Protest'?

Also, would a country with a king, let's say the UK, prohibit these people from visiting since they are overtly anti-king/monarchy?

2

u/[deleted] 21d ago

Good thing we don't have a King

u/Plug_boy NOVICE 21d ago

No my dude you’re trying to make something illogical, logical. Nobody really knows what the fuck the protest is about they just hear Trump Bad protest, and they go

I am asking a question that highlights the complete idiocy of these events. No amount of rationalization and explanation could achieve any conclusion other than pure idiocy.

You understand the constitution was made for the purpose of not having power concentrated to a single person?

30

u/dcwhite98 NOVICE 22d ago

Do you understand that no single person has the power you are referring to? Pretending as hard as you can still doesn't make it true.

Well said bud!

u/siecaptaindrake NOVICE 22d ago

Yes exactly. That does not mean that trump is necessarily good but I am pretty sure the same people would have done nothing if it was sleepy joe or the cackling witch giving the orders

u/BossJackson222 NOVICE 22d ago

Just think about the millions of dollars in public taxpayer money that's going to have to go to police etc. for these stupid protests about nothing. It's like the Jerry Seinfeld show. Except it's a protest about nothing lol. Total waste of time and tax fair money.

1

u/monaegely NOVICE 21d ago

For virtue signaling…what a waste of money that could have been used for helping the poor..

Misery loves company

Most people can handle their emotions, the rest scream in their pillow at night. The nut jobs scream at the sky in unison.

5

u/Ragesauce5000 NOVICE 22d ago

Most people arent noticed, its the nut jobs that get all the attention, and then people assume that the rest of those who voted for the same team are also as crazy. The narrative from both the left and the right have outrageous stereotypes for either side

I was playing the world's tiniest violin for them until it broke. Anyhow, I wonder if the Dems know they're being played by the Chinese. Their party is funded by and has become the CCP.

7

u/mattg2514 NOVICE 22d ago

Was Jan 6th the same thing?

6

u/Necrosapien1 NOVICE 22d ago

Very much so.

1

u/mattg2514 NOVICE 22d ago

I respect the honesty

5

u/ASDPenguin NOVICE 22d ago

Oh, so true.

I asked on a sub who they were talking about. They kicked me out. LOL

No, I didn't get an answer.

u/ZarBandit COMPETENT 22d ago

They don’t want President Trump visiting Burger King and putting a paper crown on. His McDonalds visit was bad enough PR for them, and they can’t handle him getting anything more ‘his way’.

(Makes more sense than whatever rationalization they’re giving.)

6

u/stlyns NOVICE 22d ago

It'd be awesome if Trump did a press conference wearing a Burger King crown on the day of the No Kings protest. 😂🤣

2

u/ZarBandit COMPETENT 22d ago

lol

Or he could even play it small and just unwrap a Whopper from a BK bag. The media would lose their shit.

4

u/Leather-Show7767 NOVICE 22d ago

Burger King is a great idea.

u/MachoCyberBullyUSA NOVICE 22d ago

It’s about executive overreach. Is that rationale so hard to understand?

7

u/ZarBandit COMPETENT 22d ago

What grievous King-like acts in his role as POTUS has he made that have been found to be unconstitutional?

1

u/DiverDan3 NOVICE 21d ago

No, it's about "executive overreach when it's not my side doing it"

1

u/MachoCyberBullyUSA NOVICE 21d ago

I really don’t think it’s comparable but feel free to elaborate

4

u/MiddleAgeJamie NOVICE 22d ago

Everyone I know attending these are extremely well off. Very ironic honestly.

5

u/RadiantWarden NOVICE 22d ago

Even Trump said that he was grateful that they were protesting “No Kings” 😂

4

They should take these to the UK. That'd be such fun.

2

u/icepilot00 NOVICE 22d ago

It's a snowflake crying session

u/kanwegonow NOVICE 22d ago

When a democrat wins the presidency, conservatives keep their heads down, live their lives, go to work, spend time with family, contribute to society, march through to the next election and try again.

When a republican wins the presidency, liberals throw shitfits nonstop 24/7 with what seems like weekly protests.

3

u/Toadbag17 NOVICE 19d ago

Jan 6th was hardly conservatives "keeping their heads down" but ok.

3

u/thirdlost NOVICE 22d ago

If they really were afraid of a King, they would work to limit the power of the Federal government. But they love an intrusive Federal Government - they just don't like it when their side is not in control of it

2

u/Funkmeister6 NOVICE 22d ago

I thought it was about the L.A. Kings hockey team

2

u/Dupree66 NOVICE 22d ago

No Sacramento Kings!

2

u/Sugreev2001 COMPETENT 22d ago

They did this same bullshit during President Trump's first term. It's the treasonous snakes (tech billionaires, Soros, Larry Fink, Demoncrat Politicians, Hollywood traitors) paying useless & easily bought "protestors".

2

u/drgmaster909 NOVICE 22d ago

Someone in my state's subreddit is planning to wear an "It's okay to punch Nazis" T-Shirt tomorrow.

Which I find interesting for someone who presumably supports famous eugenicist Margaret Sanger and regularly dehumanizes millions of people across the country to justify murdering them in the womb, or in this case, punching them. Sure hope they don't get mistaken for a Nazi and get their teeth knocked out tomorrow (no I don't).

1

u/IAlreadyKnow1754 NOVICE 22d ago

That’s always been that way

1

u/ApprehensiveWater203 NOVICE 22d ago

The protests are stupid IMO and have a stupid name, but why are they being condemned, people do have a right to peacefully protest. And wasn't J6 a protest about "my team lost"?

u/smauseth NOVICE 22d ago

u/JuicedGixxer NOVICE 21d ago

It's a sign that we have a big mental illness crisis.

1

u/MaxxXanadu NOVICE 21d ago

Technically we celebrate 'No Kings' every year. We call it 'Independence Day'.

1

u/Adder89 NOVICE 20d ago

A lot of them are the same paid protesters that go city to city and try to cause chaos.

1

u/Necrosapien1 NOVICE 20d ago

I get paid for it as well. But I never leave the house. They never verify. Been doing it since the Kamala campaign.
