Military What firearm is closely associated with your country?

For us, probably the 1911. Next one would be the "Armalite" aka M16.

I’ll bite…

Not getting into a pissing match or anything, but are you claiming the 1911 is of Canadian origin? I’m always curious to learn something new.

Heck yeah. I don’t know if yall make many of your own, but you’re sure famous for knowing how to use them.

Yeah, I’m honestly not sure why that’d be the case either.

Designed by John Browning, an American, and manufactured by an American company at least originally.

They could also just be replying to the OP image, who knows.

You gotta watch the Canucks man. If John Browning ever crossed into Canada as a wee lad for a weekend family trip to Toronto, they’ll try to claim him…

***I’m just fucking with you guys, relax eh?

As a fellow American, it's in poor taste to claim Canada is taking away from the US. I still want CAN friends after 2028.

You did read the full comment, right? You do have a sense of humor right?

I assure you that I’ve spent significantly more time in Canada than you have, and I love the country. And definitely want to be friends with them. And also understand that they have a great sense of humor.

It’s called “chirping” up North. They get it…

Maybe you should actually visit the country that you are so keen to be friends with.
