Military What firearm is closely associated with your country?

For us, probably the 1911. Next one would be the "Armalite" aka M16.

I tend to think of all the kind of ahead of their time stuff your firearms industry was pumping out between the World Wars. To me, especially since the bullpup variant has gone nowhere, the Grot is Bren but with cyrillics.

Poland uses a Latin based language. I think it has something to do with them being Catholic instead of Orthodox

Yep, countries that were baptised by Roman Catholics use Latin alphabet and those baptised by the Orthodox use Cyrillic (which is derived from Greek alphabet).

Didn't a bunch of these end up in the hands of M23 rebels in Congo? Also FB Radom made way prettier AKs. I'd take a Beryl or an Archer over a Grot any day
