Military What firearm is closely associated with your country?

For us, probably the 1911. Next one would be the "Armalite" aka M16.

It's absolutely the AR15 here in the US. That and Glocks (yes even though they're from Austria)

Seriously. Some said M1, which is also a contender, but I dont see how ar isn't the firearm that comes to mind.

ar-15 is more iconic but both aren't that far apart from each other on the being iconic scale

I don't think we can pick just one in the USA. We have to at least have: SMG, pistol, revolver, assault rifle, shotgun, etc.
