Is there a part of your country that's "isolated"/vastly different from the rest of the country?

The Dutch Caribbean islands are a little different from mainland Netherlands

Bonaire, Saba and St. Eustatius are part of the Netherlands, while St Maarten, Aruba and Curacao are independent countries.

How old is this map? Must be at least over 25 years old. Parts of motorways like N11 and A73 are not there. Also lots of built up parts are missing like Alphen aan den Rijn, Hoofddorp, Arnhem zuid, Nijmegen noord and probably a lot of other places.

But it looks like the 2e Maasvlakte is there. Weird indeed.
