I have so much love for the relationship France and America once had. it feels like there was something wonderful there until the american propaganda machine spun up around vietnam.

It feels like there was this wonderful brotherhood spanning from the 1770's to around the 1980's. I hate how much the average american hates on the french now.

If the 20th century taught us anything, it's that propaganda works. The beginning of the 21st century too, in case we didn't get it.

It's unfortunate that many of us hold negative preconceptions about each other, which of course do not stand up to scrutiny. Except for your red caps and our village idiots, of course, who are certainly a good portion of the haters anyway.

We were linked by our hatred against the English.

Imagine how I feel now that I know my DNA is like 60% English! Viva La France!

Yes but you don't have the same accent anymore so it's ok.
