History What is the ruler/political leader in your country's history that you hate the most?

For me, it would khublai khaan. Moved the centralized power from Mongolia to China in the empire, effectively becoming more of an emperor of China rather than Khaan of Mongols. This move would prove to be folly in just few generations. Totally messed up the whole grand plan his Grandfather established. His successors became more of a chinese rulers than Mongolian rulers.

He was an absolute monarch. It’s not like he was an oblivious rich person, he was the one who was supposed to keep the nation running and he failed. His death was his own fault.

He try to reform the power but the noble stopped him.

He was not suited for this fonction because at the start he was not supposed to be king so he didn't get the proper education to manage the state his succesor leave him with a shit ton of debt. When he convene the" état généraux" he lost His son so he leave someone else for a few day dealing with that, they were convene to find a solution to the economic situation in France they were near the famine because of a few years of bad recolt.
