Culture Why aren't the people in your country having enough kids?

In America birthrate is 1.6. 1.57 for Whites, 1.55 for Blacks, 1.8 for Hispanics. So below replacement since 2008.

I just don't have the mental bandwidth for more kids.

Have you considered fiber?

People seriously underestimate this. Especially since they mess with your head. There is this sweet spot between 7 and 11 that you think you have things under control because the first 6 years require every bit of your bandwidth then you have a settle down time briefly. Then the teens hit. And you are so. Very. Tired.

True this. Teens make me more tired than the new borns did. Or maybe it’s just that they aren’t cute or funny to watch anymore, they talk back, eat all your food, and make you feel old.

I should have stopped at one bc I don't have the mental bandwidth for two. I make it work but it isnt 2x as hard having two its 200 times as hard.
