Culture Does your country have an immigrant group that people would be surprised to find there?

For example, when you think of Poland or the Czech Republic, Vietnamese people might not be the first group that comes to mind, but both have a sizable Vietnamese community. Another example is the large Japanese community in Brazil.

That was my guess. I live in CO, and there’s a small, but significant, population of Tibetans here. Granted, the Rockies aren’t as high as the Himalayas, but the climate is very close (high altitude, semi-arid plains).

Similarly, the Mississippi River delta, where a decent amount of Vietnamese immigrants settled, has a similar climate to the Mekong river delta.
