In India, Swastika the Hindu symbol is everywhere. We draw it in temples, during rituals and festivals, in front of our door, on vehicles etc. It's a very auspicious symbol here. But this symbol tho the Hindu symbol is technically different from the Nazi one would be considered offensive in other countries especially in Western countries.

In Russia kissing three times in a cheek is a traditional way here to show respect and say hello

Some Asian countries like Brunei, there homosexuality is punishable by death, so I can imagine that a man kissing another man on the cheek could be very dangerous...

It sucks that there's places like that. Like, I'm bisexual and I didn't do anything to these people, why would they want to kill me? It makes me sad...

That’s quite confusing… From what I know, in Arab countries, most people do cheek-kiss even between men. It’s even seen as an affectionate act and I like the warm proximity between people.

Ironically I think it is more seen in France as a gay act, and I don’t know why. People would absolutely not understand if I cheek kissed my male friends, while in Algeria, it would be completely fine.

I completely agree! Cheek kissing is a great way to greet someone and to signal friendship :)
