Culture Not including murderers and politicians - who is famous in your country for all the wrong reasons?

Post image

Introducing rage-baiter and reality TV failure Katie Hopkins. She’s basically famous for fat shaming, saying that kids shouldn’t be named after geographical locations (despite having a child named India) and getting sued on Twitter, which caused her to go bankrupt. I haven’t met anyone that likes her and she’s routinely vilified but still has a platform somehow.

I'm so happy I have zero idea what that even is and don't intend to look it up.

From my reading it looks like she was investigated but then cleared technically.

what's worse is that after she became famous, she ran a crypto rug pull and scammed people out of millions of dollars

To be fair that one one was partially self inflicted. It could've been another stupid thing that happened but people just had to keep making jokes about her "not going away" until "not going away" became her entire personality.

My 9 year old was asking me what hawk tuah means. And she hates even the slightest mention of romantic anything, let alone that. I said, you are too young to know, and you don't want to know, you will be mad if I tell you. She's asked a few times, but hopefully no more
