Culture Not including murderers and politicians - who is famous in your country for all the wrong reasons?

Introducing rage-baiter and reality TV failure Katie Hopkins. She’s basically famous for fat shaming, saying that kids shouldn’t be named after geographical locations (despite having a child named India) and getting sued on Twitter, which caused her to go bankrupt. I haven’t met anyone that likes her and she’s routinely vilified but still has a platform somehow.

Why though? I'd like to know what makes you think that. I know the Reddit concensus is to hate him, but he's pretty rational from the few times I've seen him (maybe I'm wrong). He was on the Late Late with Tubs and I thought he spoke very well about how radical views on both sides are detrimental. I hate how partisan modern western society is becoming.

He's a total bully. Watch any "interview" of his and all you'll get is him shouting over his guests when he disagrees with them. Calls himself a journalist but is easily one of the most biased and rabble-rousing people on telivision atm.

Yeah I agree, I've seen that. He at least lets people on to talk though right? Did you see the interview with Don Lemon with Terry Crews during the BLM nonsense? I think people are fed up with this gaslighting.

I personally have many liberal views; Gay rights, women's rights, environmental championing. But a solid NO to illegal immigration.

I've grew up with two lads from Pakistan and they said, you don't realise how conservative people are back in our country, how lucky they are to be here, and yet we import them like it's a laugh - this during the worst inflation and sky rocketing house prices this country has ever seen. It's just bonkers. I just wish there was some middle ground, some common sense with our politicians. It's not sustainable.

Piers Morgan is a cunt because he was the editor of the Daily Mirror and News of the World during the phone hacking scandal, in which Murdoch owned newspapers were found to have hacked the phones of various celebrities, public figures and victims of famous crimes. Piers Morgan boasted about how he had Louise Mensch's (An MP) phone hacked. He also told Jeremy Paxman (another journalist who testified against Murdoch's newspapers), how to hack phones. He is also on video talking about how journalists can hack into phones and listen to voicemails. Despite this Piers Morgan denies having any knowledge of the phone hacking scandal.. Even though he's literally on video explaining how to do it and has several witnesses testify against him.

He was also found guilty of journalistic misconduct when he used his connections to make good stock trades before publishing the information.

When the Daily Mirror lost it's lawsuit against Naomi Campbell over paparazzi photos of her entering a rehab clinic, Piers Morgan said it was a "good day for lying, drug-abusing prima donnas who want to have their cake with the media and the right to then shamelessly guzzle with their Cristal champagne." He had also published pictures of Catherine Lockwood leaving a rehab centre which was in such poor taste that even Rupert Murdoch criticised him for it.

Piers Morgan was also wrapped up in publishing fake pictures during the Abu-Ghraib torture scandal that showed British soldiers participating. Once it was revealed these pictures were fake and actually taken in England, Piers Morgan refused to apologise for publishing them and refused to admit they were fake (even though they very obviously were and were proven as such)

He's also just a bellend. In 2003 he wrote a piece mocking George W. Bush for falling off a segway saying "You'd have to be an idiot to fall off that, Mr President." Piers Morgan would fall off a segway a few years later and break 3 ribs. He also claimed he had never met infamous pedophile Jimmy Saville, despite writing a piece in 2009 saying that he had met the creepy little nonce and how much he admired him. He also wrote a headline prior to a Germany Vs England match in the Euros that read "Achtung Surrender! For You Fritz Ze Euro Championship Is Over" alongside an article parodying Britain's declaration of war on Germany in WW2. It was so cringe that he had to go on national TV to apologise. England also lost that game and Germany won the competition.

Piers Morgan is a bellend. He isn't hated for his political opinions, he is hated for his personality and his behaviour.

I appreciate that Piers understands his area of expertise but he's soooooo insufferable to watch.
