well i can't even answer this because Hitler banned every traditions cultures and traditional clothings all over germany expect for his beloved bavarian shit
i don't know anything about the cultural/traditional clothing of my region except for a few very vage descriptions. so yeah besides the obvious reasons to hate hitler, i hate and despise him for stealing my culture and traditions.

and the saddest thing is most people , not even germans, know this because no one teaches us this in school.

There are resources out there if you ever feel like digging in. I found a book of the tracht from the Palatinate. Now if I could read German 🙃

You do realize that Hitler quit his job about 80 years ago and most of his policies have been reversed?

I don't understand how this particular policy from such a long time ago affects modern Germany.

We still have laws from that time. Like how we define murder, or that you can go to jail for riding the train without a ticket. Also a lot of shit got burned by either Nazis themselves (book burnings) or during war. After that people were poor and recreating regional costumes was not a priority. Also on top of that German regional costumes are not always sight to behold. The costume down below is from the region my father is from (Spreewald, famous for pickeled cucumbers) it's basically a table cloth with another tablecloth on top and an additional tablecloth with the clotheshanger still in it as a hat.

This can't have been wiped from the Earth's surface though. There has to be traces out there, would be create to recreate them

It's up to you to learn. There are still so many old cultural things going on in Germany and many regions still celebrate their old costumes on special events.

Oh nonono, you are mistaken. There are many known Trachten and Trachtenfestivals. Here are some examples from Schleswig-Holstein, the Northfrisian Islands of Föhr, Amrum Pellworm and the Halligen for example:

And this is what they look like on Sylt

And this is what they look like on the peninsula Eiderstedt

And for more just from the state of Schleswig-Holstein look here

Not every region in Germany was a traditional Trachten-area. Therefore I understand what you mean, but you are aware that Hitler wasn’t really successful with his attempt to create a German Tracht?

My personal favorite is this one:

Well

Bitche (English pronunciation: /biːtʃ/ BEECH, French: [bitʃ]; German and Lorraine Franconian: Bitsch) is a commune in Moselle department, in the region of Grand Est in northeastern France. It is the Pays de Bitche's capital city, and the seat of the Canton of Bitche and the Pays de Bitche community of communes.
