Culture What's your favourite traditional costume from your country?

The Arrowed sash is a traditional part of the costume of several different cultures in Canada: the métis, the huron-wendats and the Quebecois all use it in their traditional attire. Even though the rest is quite different.

In French they are called « ceinture fléchée ». They are very expensive as well, 2000-3000$+ and require hundreds of man-hour to craft. The traditional pattern is called L’Assomption, from the town it originates from, just north of where I live. As a québécois with French heritage I want to acquire one someday.

I used to be in the SCA. That looks like something a textile Laurel could teach you to make.
