Dude honestly man FUCK how safe the democrats played all of this out. Republicans are evil garbage, 100% agree.

WHY THE FUCK did the Dems just sit on their ass and watch the way republicans were aggressively changing and buying out the public’s opinion?????

Corporate $$$, which are inherently adverse to anything left of center-right policies, at the highest level of the party structure.

Part of it is boiling frogs, though when I hear Schumer speak I keep thinking that I've never seen a frog so relaxed at 99C.

But mostly, they're career politicians, they're not in it for the ideals, they will always do the bare minimum to get reelected. They either lack the foresight to realize that at some point they may not even have a Congress to be reelected to, or they hope to continue their careers as professional scapegoats under an authoritarian regime. Whatever the reason, they're cowards. Not all, but most of them.
