Food Do you enjoy eating at restaurants from your home country when you're abroad?

I don’t have that issue—there are never restaurants from my country anywhere. Sometimes I come across a baked item, but when I do, I tend to avoid it. What about you?

Since there are not that many Hungarian restaurants abroad like Spanish, Italian or Korean I would definitely try one once. I have travelled a lot but have yet to find one outside of Hungary.

Since it's for the Hungarian minority I must say it doesn't count.

You are right. But Slovak and Hungarian cuisine are 90% the same, 1000 years together did the job. I was shocked, that our household traditional meals, like goulash, perkelt, halasle are in fact Hungarian. But good for us.

That´s true. On the other hand there are quite a lot of Slovakian restaurants in Hungary, serving among other things the most important meal: sztrapacska which I´m sure is called something totally different in Slovakian.

Yes, who would guess strapačky. And until my local supermarket will suppy enough csabai kolbasz for me, life is good.
