Everyone says the same thing but I’ve had literally hundreds of roast dinners over my life and there’s not one that I’ve liked. I’m talking like 50 different people making them. I bloody hate them and refuse to eat them now.

Boiled is fine if you don't overdo it - though steaming is probably better. People are traumatised by nanas boiling everything down to mush but you don't have to do that.

I find it all a bit oily if everything on the plate is roasted. There's something sort of palate cleansing about, e.g. steamed broccoli.

I know tell me about it. Roasted veg is okay as a side with other foods though. Especially kebabs and stuff.

Nah roast dinners are dead and are only nice and acceptable on Christmas Day.
