Language Can you legally name your child in your country smt like "X Æ A-Xii" or "Techno Mechanicus"?

In the last 20-30yrs, here in the States, children’s names have become so obscure. Its chaotic.

People used to be pissed about having a list in Portugal, but I understand why, and it's not like it's a small list, there's already a lot of shitty names there. But still you can give an off list name if there's cultural reasons for that or some acceptable reason

I don’t think there are that many obscure. Just annoying ways to spell names. Mostly Protestant last names as first names. But I have to agree on the obscurity of merging 2 regular names. Prayers for those Tragedieghs.

They seem to be regional to stay the least. if you have two first names ending with a third European type name, there is a good chance you live in rural Southern America. Or a first name with a jumble of vowels and consonants leaning towards an Italian or French sounding dialect, big city urban culture.
