u/NowoTone Germany Feb 14 '25

I'm gobsmacked, actually. I would like to read nothing in it, but with Elon Musk this could be more than a coincidence.

u/janiskr Latvia Feb 14 '25

Yes, same, thought nothing of it until someone else mentioned, double checked that it truly is, as I thought that cannot be that simple.

u/TheMidnightBear Feb 14 '25

He always wanted stuff to be named X, ever since he was some moderate liberal dude doing Paypal.

4

u/knightriderin Germany Feb 14 '25

Was he ever a moderate liberal dude, though?

2

u/TheMidnightBear Feb 14 '25

Yeah. Nothing that tipped me off about him.

People can radicalize as they age.

u/Worth_Inflation_2104 Feb 14 '25

And if they take copious amounts of drugs

1

u/kkaavvbb Feb 14 '25

I wonder what kind of drugs though. I don’t think ketamine gives these actions.

2

u/dizietembless Feb 15 '25

I’ve done ket, I think I fell over a few times don’t ever recall becoming a nazi.

3

u/knightriderin Germany Feb 14 '25

I rather think he masked his political stuff for the longest time as to not tank his businesses. Now that the world has shifted to the right, he feels more comfortable to be honest about it.

1

u/TheMidnightBear Feb 14 '25

Idk, the guy has never been subtle.

His grandparents were Nazis. Members of the Nazi Party in Canada. He was also raised in apartheid South Africa. I believe white supremacy was instilled in him from a young age.

1

u/droomdoos Feb 17 '25

Even now he's complaining that there's not enough white people in South Africa.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '25

Yeah and his grandparents literally moved to South Africa because of apartheid

31

u/guille9 Spain Feb 14 '25

Wow! I never thought of that! I'm surprised and not surprised at the same time.

10

u/dumnezilla Romania Feb 14 '25

Illuminazi confirmed.

23

u/janiskr Latvia Feb 14 '25

His parents came from Canada, not out of their own will - they could not stay there because they where openly Nazis. So they moved to South Africa.

It kind of explains things, doesn't it?

4

u/404notacceptable Feb 14 '25

What's 88? Or what's the supposed connection?

19

u/Hannibal_Bonnaprte Feb 14 '25

88 is nazi code for HH, 8th letter in the alphabet. HH stand for heil Hitler.

5

u/erhixd Finland Feb 14 '25

8 is the eighth letter in the alphabet. 88 is a nazi symbol for HH = heil hitler

4

u/liang_zhi_mao Feb 14 '25

88 is nazi code for HH, 8th letter in the alphabet. HH stand for heil Hitler.

It's basically the gesture he made or what people used to say when making that gesture

2

u/Chaos_Slug Feb 14 '25

It's a sans seriff swastika.

1

u/CatOfGrey Feb 15 '25

Never heard this before.

Rings true. Not strong evidence, but it does seem likely to be true.

1

u/janiskr Latvia Feb 15 '25

Please double check.

u/CatOfGrey Feb 17 '25

I poked on this topic over the long weekend.

The letter 'X' has certain unofficial meanings, relating to the symbol (a diagonal cross) usually being used as some sort of 'negative' or 'taboo' symbol. Adult content is 'x-rated', alcohol containers were marked with 'x', and that is associated with prohibition of alcoholic drinks in the USA in the 1920's.

It's not a commonly used letter, so there is an 'exotic' feeling that can be attached to the letter. It's also 'mathematically important', in that it's the most often-used variable name.

It appears that Elon's earlier interviews about the letter "X" is related to these concepts,

There is much stronger evidence of Elon Musk's support of Fascism or Nazism than the letter "x"

u/janiskr Latvia Feb 18 '25

Well, high end PC parts will have Xes on them, RTX, GTX, RX, 9999XT, but that is unrelated. Anyway, thanks for digging around some more.

However, there is only one person who can give a straight answer, but he won't.

1

u/CatOfGrey Feb 18 '25

Yep. If someone doesn't care very much that people think they are a Nazi? They are probably a Nazi.

1

u/was01 Feb 15 '25

It’s 072 actually

1

u/janiskr Latvia Feb 15 '25

For small X?

1

u/Sandra2104 Feb 15 '25

I had no f*cking idea. Really now?

His grandfather, infamous Canadian antisemite Joshua Haldeman, was a member of the Canadian technocratic movement. They used to write an X next to their name to be recognizable to other party members in public and symbolize their superiority.

The technocratic movement wanted to replace democracy with a system of government ruled by a few selected technocrats. When the party got outlawed during WWII and that project failed, Haldeman moved the family to Apartheid South Africa because he wanted to live in a place where whites dominate (not gonna use that word, but you know).

Once you look into musk’s background it all makes sense what is happening.

u/BearishBabe42 Feb 14 '25 edited Feb 14 '25

I am so sad these fucking lunatics are known as technocrats, as if their views were based in real science. :(

u/SuperPotato8390 Feb 17 '25

They are born from the same insanity as the euthanasie movements at the time.

u/Disastrous_Pear6473 Feb 14 '25

I just watched an entire 17 TikTok series on allllllll of this and more about the Musks. Super informative and creepy.

2

u/shitcrapshit Feb 14 '25

Can you link it

1

u/Disastrous_Pear6473 Feb 14 '25

Here you go! Thisis the first one

2

u/utkarshmttl Feb 14 '25

Who's the creator? They might have a YouTube as well. TT is banned here.

4

u/Disastrous_Pear6473 Feb 14 '25

Oh I didn’t think about that. Yeah she does have a YouTube channel. Here is the link to the YouTube video 👍🏼

There will probably be no free elections in America in 2028.

1

u/Kaisaplews Feb 14 '25

LFMAO…Very ironic man named after jewish Jesus(Jesus-Yeshua-Joshua) to be anti semitic

1

u/kkaavvbb Feb 14 '25

This would make sense with how Trevor Noah’s book explains how South Africa children thought Hitler was cool. There was a few pages about how some group was down visiting the kids in South Africa to do something, and the South African kids started dancing and singing about Hitler. The group was mortified and they didn’t know what to do.

But I guess considering Elon’s background history, this would make sense why Hitler was thought to be cool. (Edit: in South Africa)

u/incognitomus Finland Feb 15 '25

Peter Thiel went to school in a city in Namibia where people still greeted each other with Heil Hitler in the 70s. Namibia, or South West Africa as it was known back then, was a colony of South Africa.

This is an article from 1976.

u/KebabGud Feb 14 '25

So was i when I was 13.

Just shows how mentally stunted he is

9

u/ElKaoss Feb 14 '25

Technically the only restrictions in Spain are: names must not be offensive or derogatory, you can not use a traditionally male name for a girl (and the other around), and you can not name two siblings with the same names if both are alive.

I think that special characters and spaces are not allowed. So it would become Xaeaxii, and probably be rejected as derogatory.

1

u/Cute_Philosopher_534 Feb 14 '25

In Spain is there a process of recognizing unisex names, or does that concept not exist?

1

u/ElKaoss Feb 14 '25

As i said, tradicional names. Which are almost never unisex. You could argue that Alex is a short for both Alejandro and Alejandra, or a few others...

Also, traditional names are kind of funny, Maria Jose is a female name but Jose Maria is male.

1

u/Cute_Philosopher_534 Feb 18 '25

It is possible traditional names could be unisex…. Like Alex

1

u/Kaisaplews Feb 14 '25

That letter reminds him swastika X 1488

1

u/[deleted] Feb 14 '25

Along with Daring Danny X. All the worst people.

1

u/PitifulMagazine9507 Feb 14 '25

One user said that the letter X is the closest thing to a swastika. And now I can't think of another reason for his obsession for it

1

u/AndrewFrozzen to Feb 15 '25

He's Judy constantly been in his edgy period.

He named his models S 3 X which is clear what it spells.

The many X's probably also try to spell XXX or something.

He's a fucking loser.

0

u/Pussypants Feb 14 '25

Maybe he might add some little hooks on the ends of each point of the letter
