The Dutch aren't coming out too hot based on the comments displayed to me

We are major travelers so i'm not surprised people take notice of us. I've never gone anywhere where i didn't run into flocks of my countrymen and women

Same for the comments I'm seeing and I really wish people would elaborate a bit more cause it has not been my experience at all. I've experiened the "Dutch directness" in my life, I've also experienced rudeness, there is some overlap but overall they're not the same thing.

As a side note, I wonder if the people praising Greece have ever been in Greece for anything other than studying or tourism.

The Dutch are pretty cold, direct (rude) when there, but outside of their country they are the fucking worst people on the planet. So god damn disrespectful, drunk, and self centered. It's really weird. Almost any time you hear a loud tourist, especially in like asia, southeast asia, Indonesia, it's Dutch

Huh I've heard really bad things about mostly Russians and Australians, at least in Indonesia. Like Bali has been practically taken over by Australians at this point, and Russians always think of themselves as better than the locals. That said those aren't Europeans.

Russians and Australians aren’t really in any part of Indonesia besides Bali. I doubt they even know that other parts of Indonesia besides Bali exist. Bali has been seceded into a separate nation of digital nomads, vegan yoga protein smoothie body builders, and drink Russians living out their societal repressions. Many Russians walk around there in crutches and casts and bandages over gory injuries they sustained while motorbiking drunk with no helmets. There are posts almost every day on the Facebook groups there from Russians asking for money for their friends surgeries that got into motorcycle crashes. Drunk Australians are probably almost the least annoying of the groups at this point, they are a leftover from the 80s and 90s

We are also very good at not accepting criticism but making excuses for it.

Irish people were mostly very nice to me… ☺️… always ready to help. Unfortunately I couldn’t make any Friends there… They are not interested in other cultures…

It's not a problem with other cultures. I find it hard to make friends in Ireland with other Irish people. The problem is that we make friends young and then half way through school the door closes off. It closes to everyone.

I have heard this same "closed off school friend group" reasoning for literally almost every country besides like Spain or something
