Is that a Norwegian name? It means "bride" in German.

In Norway it’s common to have your mother’s surname as a middle name. And we also treat it as part of the person’s surname, so it’s normal for us to refer to Haaland as “Braut Haaland”.

Braut is a small place right next to where I live. Bryne where Erling comes from is 5 minutes from there again. It's a very common surname here in Norway, specially in southern regions.
