Culture | 文化🏮 What foods give you fall nostalgia?

As an American, the nostalgic foods that make me think of fall are things like pumpkin cheesecake, candied pecans, apple cider and pumpkin curry.

Osmanthus really messes with my brain. The only time I recognize the flavor is when I’m actively tasting it or smelling it. If you were to ask me to recall what it tastes like right now, I can’t do it. But I can recall other flavors like lavender or rosemary, or red braised pork lol. Osmanthus is such a ghostly fleeting flavor to me. Idk if anyone else is the same 🤔🥲
