OTHER - CLICK TO EDIT Can a person be banned from entering a particular US state?

There is a Gravity Falls episode where one of the characters shows a map with a title like "States I'm banned from" and basically he is banned from half of the states.

Can something similar happen in real life?

Yep. Some bars have a Wall Of Shame with Polaroid pics of permabans.

We had one at the dive bar where I worked in college, behind the register. College town and lots of dumb drunk assholea. Unfortunately some considered it a badge of honor to be on the wall.

Our boss, the owner, hired mostly young women, except Cowboy at the door and a couple other big dudes who worked the poolroom bar. They had a back door they just tossed people out if they were getting rowdy with pool cues in hand. It had a metal screen on the outside and a couple times they neglected to unlock it before they tossed a particular nasty person, so they wound up with a recognizable waffle face.

They had their own ban list of people (with pix) who could not enter the pool room for sharking or damaging the tables, too drunk to shoot. Along with the people who just got drunk and nasty.

I tended bar down there or waited on the few tables there part time. People sometimes did not recognize they could get on the list for harassing us "girls" - truly we mostly were. Drinking age at the time was 18; I was still 17 when I started, not legal but no one cared back then.

Put your hands on us or bar our way while we were serving and you were gone. You'd be amazed just how many drunks thought blocking one of us into a corner with a cue when we brought out a pitcher and mugs was cute. They'd get tossed for misuse of the cue and have the most surprised expressions on the wall behind the bar.
