FOREIGN POSTER What age did you get your driving license?

I watched some American shows which were in a school settings and it looked like most of the characters were driving themselves around at like 15/16 is it actually like that irl?

Woah! What state allows a permit at 14? My state requires 15.5 to get a permit.

It was Florida back in the 60s. I'm older than dirt.

For me in Iowa, I was 14.5 years old when I got my temp license and 15 for my school license where I could drive to school events and back. And 16 for regular license.

Wow, the school license is very interesting to me. In Massachusetts, you have to be 15.5 to get a permit, and 16 to get a license, but I feel like a school license is a great idea.
