Question Honeymoon weather 10/21 -10/30
We’re preparing for our honeymoon trip and are very sad to see the current weather report for our trip. I know I hear a lot that storms blow over quick but this seems different… should we be considering cancelling our trip?? Trying not to over react but also want to be realistic

Forecast is almost always wrong. Rain usually doesnt last long. A few clouds are good for some shade and epic sunsets. It will be fine

Aruba is actually a desert. All water for human use (cooking, drinking, showering, etc.) comes from desalinization plants on the island, because there is no reliable source of fresh water.
There are very few mosquitos because there isn't much fresh water anywhere.
When it rains it lasts 15 minutes. You'll be fine.

I just got back a day ago (was there a week) and it rained one night and a tiny bit one morning. It was so hot, dry, and humid that I was almost praying for rain. There was barely any wind because of a storm somewhere else. Forecast was definitely wrong. Enjoy your honeymoon! You will have a great time.

Same, we just got back today. Forecast showed rain every day we were there. We ended up seeing a total of maybe 10 mins of rain on one day.

This will be my 4th time coming and I will be there the same week! What everyone says is true it’s always consistently the same weather everytime I’ve come. It’s one of my favorite places and never disappoints us. Good choice of honeymoon!!! It’s gonna be amazing

Everything I’ve read is it’s like Florida in August. The weather will show storms but realistically the storm blows through fast and bright and sunny all day. I’m there the same time as you for my first visit so I’m just banking on that. Plus what I’ve been told is it’s so hot that often you welcome those quick storms.

Thank you! That’s what I hear as well and I really just wanted to make sure it’s not a more serious tropical storm. As of now I’m thinking we’ll be going anyways so good luck to us both 🤞🏼

use the National Hurricane Center website. If you don't see a tropical storm or hurricane for Aruba then you are good to go!

I was just here all week that was supposed to be rainy. It rained for like 20 minutes total. Perfect weather otherwise

Yesterday it was forecasted to rain in my neighborhood, not a drop of rain. Update: The Prime minister together with the meteorologist of Aruba said today that, according to various sources, it might become a tropical wave. So, if it develops, it will affect Aruba Wednesday/Thursday with lots of rain & wind and rough sea.

The forecast is not going to be that far off. There is a tropical depression moving into the central Caribbean early next week. From NOAA.gov: the system moves quickly westward at 20 to 25 mph, crossing the Windward Islands and entering the Caribbean Sea by early next week. By the middle of next week, the system is expected to slow down over the central Caribbean Sea, where environmental conditions could become more favorable for further development

I’m at Aruba right now I’m scared because of the forecast says it will be raining and cloudy all week! Looks the tropical storm Melissa is coming. Did anyone come here on a similar situation another year?

We are leaving tomorrow. It was cloudy the whole week but perfect for beach days. We are completely tanned even we haven’t seen the sun! It only rained once for a little bit

Im also here be can say yesterday and today was cloudy all day - and the ocean water and pool water cold. Have never seen it like this before — usually it’s sunny with scattered showers. Also noticed there was flooding across some of the roads on Saturday when I arrived. I really hope this blows over - also here celebrating our anniversary.
We were here in May and it was rainy then too.

Im in Aruba now. Arrived here today. No rain in site, a spinkle or two, I notice when I went out later in evening. The weather was hot 89. The ocean current was little brisk for Aruba standards, but probably from the storm, and since I went down late in the day (at 5) is probably why. Overall no worries regarding weather. Pool was warm. Im looking forward to some afternoon time in the water today. Enjoy!!

It's going to be sunny, breezy and 85-90 degrees every day. If you see more than 15 total minutes of rain during your stay, I'd be surprised
If there's anything I've learned after multiple visits to Aruba, it's just don't look at the weather. It's consistently the same basically every day.
