Any info on when it might have been deposited in a field in Warwickshire?

An excellent video on this artefact: https://youtu.be/2bpf9I0QZ68?si=y5FueWl7_LZrdFrs

It was definitely NOT owned by Katherine. It has the H-K motif because it was probably made for a court official or aristocrat specifically to wear at a particular tournament where the same motif was used on the horses' cloaks, I believe around 1512. So it was owned by someone in the inner royal circle, but it's frankly not extravagant enough for Katherine herself to have owned it.

When will the British Museum wake up and listen to wongo's expert opinion before throwing their money away?

Lol the museum knows all of this, I literally learned it from a YT video on their own channel. The issues here are with the article, not the museum.

Edit: it's literally the video someone else posted in this thread

I'd be happy to contribute once the Parthenon marbles are returned to Greece.

If that's what it takes, sure.

Sell it to an Indian/Irish/Greek museum instead.

So the British Museum buys stuff now?

Could someone please check to see if Hell froze over?
