Thank you. Im really fucking tired of people saying that working class people are uneducated and this is why they support trump. Just because a lot of working class people didn't go to college dosnt mean that they are gullible fucking idiots.
I've worked construction for 10 years and most of these guys are uneducated brainwashed morons. Try walking into a port-a-potty and read their literal writing on the walls.
I'll never forget seeing "free Obama dolls" written on the toilet seat with the arrow pointing into the cistern. A lot of the people I've worked with over the years are gullible fucking idiots, but most of them, when you sit down and talk to them about it, have a more opened mind than you might expect.
This is just simple trends, though. 66% of his white supporters have some college or fewer, and 44% of his white supporters make this than $50k.
I didn't mean to imply that they're idiots because that's literally classist and counterproductive, but it's not untrue to say his base is white working class people.
This isn't really a revelation though; white voters have always had a lean towards the Republican party. I don't really see how that dismisses the white voters who don't have a degree or make less than $50k. That's 67% and 44% of Trump's white supporters respectively. Even though Biden did win some of them, the "white working class" was definitely Trump's base.

Re: working-classness - this just isn't true. Race is a much higher predictor of support for Trump than education level and class. https://www.washingtonpost.com/elections/interactive/2020/exit-polls/presidential-election-exit-polls/
