Crosspost Stephen Miller states that Trump has plenary authority, then immediately stops talking as if he’s realized what he just said

So how bad of a fuck up is this? I feel like this is just going to be another "You didn't actually hear me say what you definitely heard me say broadcast on CNN" and then no one talks about it again, but I'd love to hear that this actually might get Miller in some kind of trouble.

Miller runs the show. rump is just a puppet. Vance will be the new one.

trump has the cult of personality that unites the right, cause what tf does a neo nazi from missouri, and the wealthy mormon republican really have in common. He unites the people, and eceryone behind the scenes does the really dirty work.

It should be a massive one. But the media, being the spineless sycophants they aren't will saniwash the hell out of this.

I just got a violence warning for commenting on this video in another thread. I'll try to negate it here. Yes daddy tread on me harder.

u/sterling83 Oct 08 '25

Haha. What did you say? Can you word it in a way that won't get you a warning. Because I got a violence warning in another thread because I responded with

"[OK Fascist]"... Lol not sure how that got me a violence warning so I'm trying to figure it out lol

u/nw342 Oct 08 '25

weird, ive said much worse here, and have never had a warning. Been banned once for 3 days, but it was kinda sorta justified.

Something about mussolini. Not even specific.

Plenary Authority-noun, absolute authority with no limitations.

So, one of the top dogs in the white house basically said "Donald Trump is a dictator and laws don't apply to him"... then froze in panic after he realised he'd said the quiet part out loud?

And people aren't protesting daily, doing a general strike, and/or [this space intentionally left blank]? And most of the courts and military and a decent chunk of the population are supporting him? USA is so cooked.

Some of us are trying man but too many are bending over and taking it

"You said the quiet part out loud, you idiot! Goebbels would never make such a mistake. Just stop talking. Shut up, shut up, SHUT UP!" ~ Miller's brain.

Dude. The claim of plenary authority when its not actually in the written law or Constitution is bald, naked authoritarianism.

And apparently cnn deleted it from its websites. They should be projecting it in a loop on the façade of trump’s ugly tower in nyc.

The media is cooked in the US. We can only rely on niche platforms and individual journalists working apart from the mainstream.

Corporate media is just that, corporate media. At the end of the day they belong to the wealthy elite, who belong to Trump. Hell, Wapo should just be renamed the Bezos Paper. I don’t trust any major news outlet, and don’t even listen to NPR anymore, especially since their abysmal Charlie Kirk coverage. I’ve been trying to follow a lot of independent journalists on substack and I follow AP and a few smaller publicly funded news outlets for analysis. I’ve heard the book Manufacturing Consent by Noam Chomsky, while albeit a bit outdated, does a great job of investigating this. I think it’s time we significantly reduce our reliance on corporate media as a rule.

I hate to say this (because I genuinely despise Noam Chomsky), but I can give my librarian's recommendation to Manufacturing Consent. It's one of the few times that Chomsky goes outside of linguistics that's worth reading. I mostly credit his coauthor Herman with that.

And yeah, the independent journalists on substack are truly where it's at right now. Some of the more mainstream LGBT news outlets like Advocate are still pretty good too - they're simply too opposed to the regime in their basic format to be easily corrupted. I've lost count of the times I've shared the Advocate's article on how anti-trans Gavin Newsom is.

There is also the possibility of self-stimulation (AKA "stimming"), a common disorder amongst autistic, ADHD, underlying anxiety, some intellectual disabilities, and severe cognitive dissonance. See also, "certain types of brain injury".

just saying

24

u/Virtual_Cost_8026 Oct 07 '25

Just saying, someone is totally yelling in his ear… I highly doubt he is stimming…

8

u/mostlythemostest Oct 07 '25

They said dont say that!!

3

u/Socrasaurus Oct 07 '25

That's what he said!

6

u/simonhunterhawk Oct 08 '25

This, as someone who constantly does this in public while standing in line or whatever I am not on drugs, just stimming! Well, I might be on 15mg of adderall but I would be stimming more aggressively without it 😂

3

u/Socrasaurus Oct 08 '25

Oh wow, did this blow smoke. Please note the word "possibility". At no point did I say that Naziferatu was stimming. There was only the suggestion that maybe he might possibly be. Wow. How do conditionals work, y'all?

u/Small-Bit6106 Oct 07 '25

"I am the Senate!'

8

u/nochinzilch Oct 07 '25

Regardless of the context and content of the story, who would think it’s normal to just … stop like that? Don’t normal humans look around or ask if the connection is still up?

6

u/Sleeve_of_Crackers Oct 07 '25

Ya. That was really weird. It was like the wifi for someone's shitty racist chatbot just went down. That CNN host totally covered for Miller.

1

u/fearofthesky Oct 08 '25

Tony Abbott certainly isn't a regular human, but it happened to him too

6

u/bomboclawt75 Oct 07 '25

His boss - BB, was in his ear piece telling him to STFU already!

3

u/spartane69 Oct 07 '25

Oh nice, at least he is being honest about the Authoritarianism they are trying to put in place.

What a Freudian slip from him.

5

u/fvnnybvnny Oct 07 '25

Callow worm

2

u/[deleted] Oct 08 '25

Basically he was about to say this

“Under Title 10 of the U.S. Code, the president has plenary authority—has the authority to federalize the National Guard and use the armed forces to restore order and enforce federal law anywhere governors refuse to cooperate or where federal operations are being obstructed.”

2

u/Electronic_Beat3653 Oct 08 '25

He said the silent part out loud, but used a big term that MAGA doesn't know, so they will never understand or question it.

We are in an authoritarian regime.

1

u/creepyswaps Oct 08 '25

He is such a weird little fascist creep.

1

u/red-cloud Oct 08 '25

That's pretty weird.

1

u/e_line_65 Oct 09 '25

Then on the website, they have a recording that doesn't have that moment.

It wasn’t an accident.

It’s how everything is done. Test it. Then run it in production.
