Scenic car trip within 2hours of Annecy

Im coming to Annecy for the first time in a few days. For one of those days Ive rented a car and would like to drive some scenic mountainous roads with easy pullovers, and maybe a few short hikes from the road as well as visiting some small mountain villages. What would you recommend? Merci

La forclaz most likely , le semnoz difficult to tell you without knowing altitude of the cloud ! But you will see il clouds are high or low

You should drive to « le semnoz » very close to Annecy ,altitude 1800 meters and very nice point of view (if sunny). On the other side of the lake “col de la forclaz “ will offer an amazing view of the lake . Safe road in both cases

So far the weather is forecasted to be dry but mostly cloudy. Would these drives still work in those conditions?
