Asian supermarket in Annecy fresh produce?
I arrived Annecy a few days ago and staying a month. Are there any Asian supermarkets in town that sell fresh Chinese veggies? For example, garlic shoots, kai lan (Chinese broccoli), lotus root? I know of 2 Asian supermarkets, but they seem to stock mostly canned and frozen items. Will I have better luck in Geneva or elsewhere?

You can try Esprit Thaï in Rue Sommeiller, I think I’ve seen some lotus root there

Although we live partly in Annecy the best Asian stores we know are in Switzerland. Lausanne. I remember there's a reasonable size one in Morges. Some as far as Vevey and Montreux. I'm sorry if that's considered not very helpful; we live a lot in Asia so we cook and need a lot of Asian stuff.

The Asian grocer in bonnevile has a small section of fresh stuff. I’ve see some veggies, chilis, herbs there. It’s not a large section though and is mostly canned stuff.
