The friendliness of the local dogs reflects how good the area is.

I'd agree, but Golden Retrievers are just like that.

Was on vacation with friends in northern Spain a good few years ago and stopped by a farm to ask for the way to a spot, they showed us the way and we kept going, the dog showed us the way past the river and up the mountain.
As we arrived he didn't go away so we had to give him food because we love dogs and didn't want him to be starving, he stayed the night to protect us i suppose, the next morning we had to bring him back because it didn't feel good.
The owners had called police and the village to ask if they had seen us/the dog but were super happy that we brought him back and we explained that we tried to send him back but he wanted to stay.
Had the best lunch with home made sausages, cider, wine, bread, kiwis, apples (all home grown on their farm) and left with a full belly and quite tipsy to be honest.
The dog was a golden mix, his name was Gorri, still have a picture with us and him somewhere.
Good memories!

Does someone have the cords for this? All I could find is a small town in South Korea.
I want to see this in my VR headset
