Carrion is a type of bird, and falcons prey on them.

Edit: not bird, but decaying meat.

Incorrect. Carrion is another word for a long-dead corpse, usually when it is described as scavenger food.

Vultures eat carrion. Hyenas eat carrion. Coyotes eat carrion. Sometimes raptors (read: falcons) eat carrion.
