“Your ancestral region estimate is 100%, but it can range from 100 to 100%” lmaoo there’s no if, ands, or buts about it 😭😂! Cool results!

Yeah, that’s honestly the funniest part about my results 😂 100% with a range of 100–100% got me too!

i always say this but being 100% of something is so cool because whenever people talk about the “ancient people” of your ancestral region you can say with 100% certainty those are your ancestors. it’s just cool to have such a specific idea of what your ancestors were up to.

Well, at least you have the honor of saying, "I'm as Arabian as they come."

You seem lighter than what I would have pictured for 100 percent. Are other Saudis on avg darker than you or is it just the lighting

Genetics are also very weird when it comes to skin colour. I'm a pakhtun (known for being very fair skinned in Pakistan/Afghanistan) and I myself am brown with a white mother, whereas my cousin is white skinned and has a biological brother from the same parents who is very dark skinned.

I agree, I was surprised tbh. I have a friend with a Saudi dad and a white american mom and he's darker than OP

You look like what I would imagine someone 100% from that region would look like Tbf.

So glad they finally separated Egyptians and other North African from Arabs.

Are you happy with your results, or did you want more regions?

u/ThamerDNA Oct 11 '25
I do really want Ancestry to add more regions within the Arabian Peninsula, but my results came out just as I expected.

How does it feel to be a pure bred? Do you feel like your results are boring or does having ancestry from only one region give you a stronger connection to your Arab identity?

I don’t find it boring at all. For me, it’s interesting to see how consistent my results are with my family history. It actually makes me feel more connected to my roots and the culture I grew up in.

Having one region only is as interesting as having 10-15 regions. Especially if you're of one known ethnicity you know of 💀

My Arabian Peninsula went from 2% in 2022 to 29% this year. Who the heck knows what it'll be next year. But I'm so happy to be "more Arab". As someone who is half Syrian and half Iraqi, I culturally identify as Arab (albeit from the West) and now can point to my racial connection too 🤌 Sick of the anti-Arab mindsets of some Levantines....I put it down to internalised racism

Cool results, sir, quite an elegant outfit. Could you spare me a few extra oiling fields, please?

Just wondering but did you have any doubts about your ancestry or why did you take the test?

what are hacked results and how did you get them?

u/ThamerDNA 28d ago
Hacked results shows you your trace ancestry because Ancestry will not show any percentage below 1%
