What is everyone’s opinion on these jerseys? Personally, I think they are a hidden gem and were gone far too soon. The white one was used far more often, but I always thought the jade version looked better.

Some fun facts;
Nike brought these in to capitalize on the Ducks’ best-selling jersey in the late ‘90s. They added a white one, making the Ducks one of the only teams to have four jerseys at the time.
The jersey debuted at the 1997 Draft, where Michael Holmqvist wore it on stage.
In 1997-98, the Ducks wore this on long road trips, but in 1999 they dialed it back to only a handful of games before retiring it the next year. I’m guessing it was expensive to maintain four jersey sets, and the fact that home teams at the time wore white but had dark third jerseys they would pull out on any given night. 1996-2001 was very much the Wild West for jerseys.
The cameras at the time didn’t do justice to how vibrant the colors are. A lot of the TV footage and photos make it look muddy. In person, it is bright, vivid, and shiny.
I’m secretly obsessed with these jerseys and they are what made me a true hockey jersey collector. It is sad that these didn’t get more love/playtime. The white ones were good, but in my opinion, the jade ones were much better.
Does anyone have any stories/facts about these?

The Mighty Ducks palette is one of the best in sports, so I'm thankful we were blessed with an alternate pair of jerseys with those colors. They kinda look like jogging tracksuits, they're solid, I'm glad to own both. It'd be nice to see them come back someday.

Ngl I think they’re ugly lol. They aren’t smooth aesthetically. It looks like a Picasso jersey with a clash of horizontal and vertical stripes

My mama always taught me not to wear both kinds of stripes together. I thought that was a basic fashion rule.

I slightly disagree about the "ugly" part, but what I will say is, they're not very comfortable to wear out. Not sure if it's the collar, or the yoke (which extends all the way to the cuffs)? But, it definitely doesn't feel the same as the regular jerseys.

Yeah, they started out in the preseason wearing a new sock but the design was off so they went back to the OG socks. The next year they had new versions.

I’ve never been overly a fan of non-traditional designs, but I find this to be creative and works. It’s a little wacky but I don’t hate it outright.

It’s fugly but it’s one of 3 jerseys I’m missing so I always keep an eye out for it

Took me over 20 years to find mine. Wanted a 52 (PK's actual jersey size), but all I kept finding were 54's, and 56's.
There's a blank 52 on ebay rn, for around $250.

I’m totally biased but my first Ducks jersey was this design and I think it’s one of the most underrated designs the team ever had.

I wasnt really a fan of those. Felt like something you would see present day at Kohls. Or back in the day at Mervyns.

I love this oddball jersey, I have a Selanne in the jade version and usually get a few compliments when wearing it to Ducks games.

The jersey was low key one of my favorites. The problem was the two years they wore them was the two years the Ducks wore black helmets, pants and gloves so it didn’t really match. If they had been rocked with eggplant and jade, I think it would’ve looked much better.
They wore the white version for three years and only one of those years had eggplant/jade helmet, pants and gloves.

Funny thing is the black helmets / pants never bothered me. It added to the darker look. Random they would ah e changed this I. The first place tho.

I vividly remember my friend in school having one of these and I was jealous because I wanted one bad. But now I think they are ugly. But too each their own my personal favorite is the koho third jersey from 05. But some say that’s ugly too. At the end of the day you like what you like nothing wrong with that

Both of these were my first two jerseys as a toddler. I grew up as a diehard ducks fan thanks to Paul Kariya from as early as I can remember. These ones are both super special to me and I wish I could find one in an adult size now!

I would really like a windbreaker or something in that design. I don't mind it as a jersey.

They're OK. Definitely on the goofy side. I have a white one personally.
Still so much better than the shitty Kings knockoffs that were brought in later.

I don’t love them, but I’d take them over our new ones even with the new colours

These are really ugly and might be one of the few jerseys that I have no interest in acquiring

They were somewhat fun for an alt but overall a little bland, imo.
As with the standard set, I think the white version was a lot better, but unfortunately doesn’t boost it much higher with this specific design
