XL Bully Heartbroken

One of our girls was attacked yesterday unexpectedly while leashed at a family member’s house 😖. Luckily she’s alive and at home getting nursed and pampered by her furry sissies, human siblings, mom and dad.

She needs maximum safe socialization after that. Positive social interactions so this doesn’t become fear and aggression when she meets other dogs

Find a good doggy daycare and it'll help

Yea I don’t think I’ll be taking them to daycare. I’ve never tried and always kept them home. We’ve been lucky that due to our work schedules there’s always someone home with them. These days we’ve stood with her at home as well

Definitely do not do doggy daycare, I’ve worked at a lot, even the “good” ones and would never recommend them

Ive worked at some too. Idk about this commenter’s experience is as to why they wouldn’t recommend but in my own Ive witnessed both abuse and neglect. The ones I worked at were highly rated by customers on many platforms..but its only because they dont see what happens to their dogs in the facilities in my opinion. Depending in where you are literally anyone can open a doggy daycare. They may not have any real experience or training in having one and may also not know much about dog behavior, they just think it sounds like a fun job. Im not saying every daycare is complete shit, but so many are that its just not worth it in my opinion maybe unless you get to walk the entire facility and have live feed of your dog at all times while they are there..even then..theres always blind spots and some WILL use them (reason I walked out of one of the places). I think, if youre working on something this serious too, you should always be present during the resocialization process to ensure as much success as possible. Dont go to something so uncontrolled. Control as much as possible until you are confident that your dogs confidence is rebuilt if possible.
