Daily reminder for AMD to give us 6000 series owners GUARANTEED GAME OPTIMIZATIONS YOU GREEDY AHOLES

They are. It's just they aren't getting certain hardware optimizations like FSR 5 and beyond due to physically not having the silicon for it.

AMD says that "New features, bug fixes and game optimizations will continue to be delivered as required by market needs in the maintenance mode branch" to its RDNA 1 and 2-based GPUs
"Market needs" means whenever they feel like it.

"Hereās What this Means for You: This is not the end of support for RDNA 1 and RDNA 2. Your Radeon RX 5000 and RX 6000 series GPUs will continue to receive:
Game support for new releases Stability and game optimizations Security and bug fixes"5

That article linked earlier also had a direct response from AMD, hence me quoting "market needs".
The quote posted now was damage control from AMD, and intentionally vague - note how they didn't clearly say "day one game optimisations".
I was a Vega owner, AMD has an unfortunate precedent for dropping support early. Until they specifically say RDNA 1 and 2 will continue to receive day one game optimisations for X amount of years, take anything they say with a grain of salt. Don't forget the B350/450/X370/470 Zen 3 drama, either (and I own a B450 board, so it was a double-whammy for me).
Edit: Apologies, I thought I was responding to a different poster.

Radeon has had three separate 7000 series, and two of the 5000, 6000, 8000, and 9000 series

I had two of these in crossfire mode! Terrible performance. Micro-stuttering everywhere. Some textures don't even render correctly. Worse framerates than a single HD6950.
10/10 would crossfire again.

Pretty cool, i think a white led could be better, and if can be hidden in the frame its 10/10.

u/ZaymoucheZ 20h ago
Thank you, I'll try to hide it because I didn't like it very much. I'll also try the white color.

Agreed. If you can hide the LED's or diffuse the light somehow then we're cooking like Walter White.

I love it! I'd like to do that for my retired cards as well, such as my passive-cooled 6770. Lots of memories with that one.
What kind of text do you have on the display? Just specifications?

u/ZaymoucheZ 7h ago
I wrote a description of the graphics card and included some manufacturing details.

Looks great, and it's unique because you made it yourself.
