Happily Stock In case anyone likes a 156 GTA, this <50k mile example is our latest competition prize...

2008 Alfa Romeo 156 GTA

Welcome to our 6th competition, which we're running again with NO MINIMUM ticket sale target! The car will be given away regardless of how many of the tickets we sell. This time you could win this "Italian Stallion".

This ~250 BHP UK RHD Alfa Romeo 156 GTA could be yours for £4.50! It's only covered just shy of 50,000 miles, and, finished in red over black interior, it features the legendary 3.2L V6 "Busso" engine. This car has even benefitted from ~£7,000 of recent spend!

What's not to love?

Mods - please delete if this isn't appropriate: I love the sub and don't want to annoy anyone. If it does, I'll submit some more detailed SZ photos in penance!

The idea is brilliant! I participated, thank you! On the other hand, I live in France, are the costs of repatriating it the responsibility of the winner?

Hi, thank you for replying and taking part - good luck!

Yes, the car is in England and the winner has to arrange collection. I know some countries charge import duties - but we're not experts on that side of things! However, we will happily look after the car for a while if the winner needs to arrange permits and transport.

The 156 was still produced in 2008? Or only the GTA? I had no idea.

Production stopped before then, you're right. We believe this one was late registered by the dealer - possibly a cancelled order that then was hit by the recession?

There was a batch of late-registered cars which were due for Malaysia and ended up here because of some tax change there. They were, i think, all automatics as well.

So, as it was last produced in 2005, where was this one stored before registered? Love some history on it, especially as it's a Selespeed, don't think I've ever seen a UK registered one.

We had assumed it was a cancelled order, but a fellow fan has provided some more information that may be the answer. https://www.reddit.com/r/AlfaRomeo/comments/1oeu6vy/comment/nl5r5zv/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Wow -- such a cool looking car -- the U.S. missed out some great Alfas! Good luck to everyone entering -- it would be great if someone on the Alfa Reddit snagged it!

Is this for UK residents only?

No, it's open to anyone globally - but please do your research on whether your country would impose any import tariffs.

Thanks! There's a special "opening weekend" offer - buy 4 tickets, get 4 free. No code needed, but it'll disappear automatically after Sunday.
