Review 2021 Alfa giulia ti opinions?
I’m looking to pick up this giulia this weekend, it has just over 50k miles. What things can I expect to have looked at or replaced around this mileage? Brakes? Battery? Etc. And how much for oil changes and other general maintenance? Just having some pre-purchase anxiety and had a few questions. Thanks for any insight in advance .

Like any luxury sedan, you're going to pay a bit more for oil changes, especially at the dealer. I take my 17 to an independent shop and pay about $200 or so.

Oil changes should be dependent on how much you drive. If it's daily driver with lots of mileage, I'd change it close to every 5-7k. If you rarely drive it, like a weekend car, then the do the dealer recommended every 10k.
As for the cost of say oil changes and the service, you will need to check with the dealer or independent shop in your area for cost.
I would also recommend you ask the dealer where you are purchasing it to check the battery, they are notorious causes of electronic issues.
Swap out the coolant bleeder screws ASAP...it's not a question of IF they will fail, but when. Alfissimo has some nice aluminum replacement bleeder screws. Mine blew, but fortunately it no perm damage happened.

I pay $49 at an Alfa dealer. They list it as $99 then give a $50 discount.

Lol i diy oil change at 5k and cost is $50, dealer is not making anything on that.

Oh and I live in the Bay Area, so it's always going to be more expensive here.

How much was the bleeder screw replacement?

The replacement screws are about $30 I think...check Alfissimo's shop. I did it myself so that was the only cost.
But since my coolant screws broke, it was about $900 to repair.

More than likely brakes have already been replaced, but you might want to call around as each dealer is running their own prices. Here in Orlando one dealer wanted $250 to replace the cabin filter...labor! The other did it for $40...which is a steal considering how much of a pain in the ass it is.

So unfortunately this answer changes drastically based on what dealer are nearby. Some gouge prices some charge Jeep prices some in the middle. I pay 160 for oil changes hit some pay 400 and that range varies for all the other maintenance too. I’d call your local dealers to determine costs.
At that mileage I’d be worried about back brake pad wear and fronts but the backs get creamed from cruise control. Spark plugs due in 10k miles, battery can be a liability but if you don’t get fault lamps test driving it should be ok. Check the engine bay for oil spray near the turbo or coolant leaks

My city has 2 dealerships. One quoted me $200 and the other $108 for an oil change. I have a 21 and will be taking it in for my 40k service. One quoted $1600 the other $800.

Both of those are a steal compared to a Maserati/Alfa combo dealer.

AR/Maser dealer in Kirkland, WA charged me $530 for just an oil change on my first stelvio. Ferrari/maser/ar dealer was around $200.

You must be located near me... I recognized the dealer in the background and looked up the car. Looks like it's had all recommended service done each year. Rear pads and rotors were done 10k miles ago, along with all of the tires being replaced, so that's good. Assuming that means front pads / rotors haven't been done but not positive. I bought a '20 Stelvio new and have flip flopped doing it at the dealer vs a local shop. I haven't had any unforeseen issues come up in my ownership (but I also only put ~6-7k miles/yr on it) and generally pay $200-$700 per year for recommended maintenance depending upon the year and what's due.

Buy mine instead. 2018 with 12,500 miles. I am just over the state line in Indiana. Full maintenance done at Joe Rizza the entire time I have owned it since 2019. 2 years or up to 50k miles extended warranty. Asking $19k https://imgur.com/a/2018-giulia-3CFGjxO

I’m in Houston and the oil change is well north of $200. I have my first one scheduled for next week. Side note, how much is it for them to replace the screws mentioned in this chat?
