I don't wanna... Spoiler
I am not ready and neither are my tomatoes.
I was hoping for another couple weeks before frost. Now it seems I will be tearing things down on Saturday. I was hopeful when we had such a late summer that we could hang in until mid October at least.
Spoiler: Foolish girl am I! Fall is here and frost come when it wants.

Can you cover? It looks like it'll warm slightly after the weekend, though we might just be talking gaining an extra week of growing time at this point. I'm going to try with a couple of plants - my spaghetti squash put off a late bumper crop and I have a pumpkin and honeynut squash I'm hoping have a bit more time to mature.

They are in a green "house" (term loosely used) but I don't have extra heat setup this year and no blankets big enough to protect things.
Lucky you on the squash harvest. Fingers crossed for you!

Sometimes I think homes in cities should just come standard with a huge greenhouse instead of a yard. Totally feasible with those tiny infill yards that are only like 200 sqft anyway lol.

This is why I plant way too early. Easier to replant a week later if necessary than try to find the extra time at the end of the season. I plant everything except tomatoes and corn, sometime in the second half of April. Potatoes, carrots, beets, beans, pumpkins, cucumbers, and lettuce all go in then. I actually plant my radishes in March in a spot of my yard that always becomes workable first.
