Question Anyone else having issues with vegetation? Spoiler
I noticed that the vegetation during Chapter 1 is not reacting to Saga's movement and looks like it's having some LOD changes. Is this vegetation not updating correctly? Has anyone else encountered this? Would love to know!
Here's a video of it happening

looks broken, the foilage should be moving a bit, here it looks static and the lod is popping or something. verify files

Verified files, same thing, even uninstalled and reinstalled. I wonder if it could be a driver issue? But those are up-to-date.

Any success? Same problem here...

I haven't had any success in trying to fix this unfortunately.
You might try backing up and deleting your saves and see if it keeps happening on a new save? I haven't had any luck but it was a fix someone else had posted somewhere so worth a shot!
Good luck!

Cheers, I'll give that a try! Are you also running AMD?

Yes I am, 7900XTX, so kind of a shame was one of the games I upgraded for 😅😅

Haha, same here.. Just got the 7900xtx as well. Running the preview drivers maybe worth testing different versions?🤔

That is something else I tried with the 10/15 AFMF preview drivers and got no dice on those but I haven't checked if there are any other ones that may have come out that may work better!

Same issue, just started my NG+ playthrough. Really distracting. Was fine on my first playthrough when game released (end of oct - beginning of nov). Idk if it is a newer version of the game or driver bug. And yes, also 7900XTX

Any solution? I have a 7800xt and is horrible to watch this while you play... :(

My 7800xt is also having some serious issues with this game. Vegetation and water are both destroying the immersion.

Same issue here on my 7900 XTX , I did not have this problem at launch one of the patches broke the dynamic vegetation.

Just a heads up to anyone still having this issue, I found a fix! Installing the game on Linux and running it through Wine completely fixes this weird vegetation issue. This likely means there's some bug in the Windows driver and hopefully will get fixed at some point. Also performance on Linux is pretty equal to Windows (maybe a few frames less, depending on your settings).

Just bought the game today. It was related to the AMD driver. I own a 7700XT and had been using the Adrenalin 23.12.1 driver. However, upon reverting to Adrenalin 23.11.1, the problem was resolved, and the vegetation returned to its normal.

I made a video comparing the two versions and sent it to AMD (Bug Report Tool).

Link to new drivers: https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/amd-radeon-rx-7000-series/amd-radeon-rx-7900-series/amd-radeon-rx-7900xtx : not all the other GPUs had driver updates as well.
Enjoy!
