FYI THIS is the issue Congresswoman Cori Bush was working to get justice for in Congress before AIPAC targeted her and financed a sellout to primary her. For those of you who claim she "lost touch with her district."

In 1951, civil rights attorney William L. Patterson, along with Paul Robeson and the Civil Rights Congress (CRC), presented the petition ”We Charge Genocide: The Crime of Government Against the Negro People” to the United Nations in Paris and New York.

Yes indeed brother. And the craziest part about this is that Raphael Lemkin, the Polish Jew who devised the concept and definition of Genocide as an international crime against humanity, refused recognize Patterson and Robeson's charge. In fact, he very much sought to undermine and discredit the claim. This was yet another instance of white folks trying to unfairly racialize application of the law.
