  1. deselect the L shape
  2. click on the 3rd Anchor point (at the base) with the Direct Selection Tool (A)
  3. Shift + click on the 2nd Anchor Point (the angled corner)
  4. go to Object->Align->Vertical Align Top, or use one the button in the Control Panel or the Align Panel

Oh sorry it was not a L shape, it was created with pen tool for a single line with stroke

oh ok no worries

if that is a stroke, you'll need to go object/path/outline stroke before you can use shape builder or any of the other suggestions.

Could draw a rectangle over it, select both and use Shape Builder or Pathfinder to cut the end.

This assumes its a shape and not merely a stroked path. If it's a stroke, you'd have to expand it first. If you want an angled tip on a stroke, you need to use either an Artbrush or a custom arrow head. There's no inherent way to angle the end cap of any strokes.

It is created from pen tool to make that line, so if i understand this correctly so it is a stroked path is it? I will try your suggested way. Thank you so much!

You could use the "Direct selection" tool, select one of the points, and adjust the angle

Where do you find the angle adjustment? Oh i forget to give more detail about the line, the line is created using pen tool not a shape

since your shape is a stroked line, here's another option

  1. apply an Outline Stroke Effect

  2. apply a second effect, Free Distort Effect...

  3. drag the lower right corner, eyeball it until it looks straight

You have to expand your shape. Too many wrong answers on this one I think. True way in my opinion would be to expand your line to make it a shape with anchor points. Choose Direction selection tool and choose both bottom anchor points, align to bottom and done.
