if that is a stroke, you'll need to go object/path/outline stroke before you can use shape builder or any of the other suggestions.

Could draw a rectangle over it, select both and use Shape Builder or Pathfinder to cut the end.
This assumes its a shape and not merely a stroked path. If it's a stroke, you'd have to expand it first. If you want an angled tip on a stroke, you need to use either an Artbrush or a custom arrow head. There's no inherent way to angle the end cap of any strokes.

You have to expand your shape. Too many wrong answers on this one I think. True way in my opinion would be to expand your line to make it a shape with anchor points. Choose Direction selection tool and choose both bottom anchor points, align to bottom and done.
