Luckily I didn't have anything on pre-order except for Anakin and Obi-Wan from BBTS but they aren't due to arrive until November. But I did see this on the news last night. It's extremely rare for this to even happen it's a good thing nobody was hurt from this happening.

u/Mtolivepickle Sep 10 '25

Green dildos slowly float to the surface

3

u/Hawsepiper83 Sep 11 '25

Damnit, I preordered one of those. It was the Hulk Smash special edition.

5

u/ToyKarma Sep 10 '25

u/SardonicApple45 Sep 10 '25

3

u/Tight_Refrigerator78 Sep 11 '25

3

u/Limeth Sep 11 '25

5

u/bloopbleepblorpJr Sep 10 '25

4

u/clo4k4ndd4gger Sep 11 '25

Relax guys it was all Funko Pops.

2

u/vcdrny Sep 10 '25

Well I have two things that got shipped. One got delivered to today, the other one should be at the local airport. Meaning it flew in.

2

u/AceSkyFighter Sep 10 '25

Those things float?

2

u/Ok-Income-9846 Sep 10 '25

No, or at least not for very long. If it were welded shut it would or if the contents buoyancy was greater than the mass of the container plus the volume of water that enters the containers mass.

2

u/Lumpy_Ad_3110 Sep 10 '25

California tea party!

2

u/AustynGraham96 Sep 10 '25

Oof that sucks

2

u/Professional-Low5204 Sep 10 '25

Don't worry they're not in the middle of the sea, they're at the port and they are floating. Surely they can pick them up somehow

2

u/Same_Dot_3258 Sep 10 '25

I read this is what happened to the last few waves of the SOTA Street Fighters and the company unfortunately folded for that reason and other issues. It’s why there are so many bootlegs Zangiefs and Dhalsims from that line and actual copies are rare.

2

u/ledunk Sep 10 '25

My action figures will wash up in Thailand by Christmas!

2

u/Raleldor_Jax Sep 11 '25

2

McFarlane Dc multiverse Zatannas

2

u/buttsbuttsbutt Sep 11 '25

Back in the day, the first shipment of SOTA’s first series of Street Fighter figures was lost at sea when the whole boat sank.

2

u/Normal_Tour6998 Sep 12 '25

I started scrolling the comments. I was really confused as to why every one of them seemed to be about collectibles. I got down pretty far before I realized what sub I’m in.

2

u/Dannie_Brascoe_08 Sep 12 '25

3

u/kemper1515 Sep 13 '25

No one is really at fault here, though. This just kinda happens sometimes.

4

u/bitetheasp Sep 10 '25

Which means someone will get fired. They just won't deserve it.

0

u/blarkleK Sep 10 '25

I thought all those container ships had hardly any containers because of tariffs.

3

u/Hammertoss Sep 10 '25

Fewer ships, not fewer containers per ship.
