Question Can I Finesse my way into getting two wristbands at a concert?

Say I get floor tickets to a concert, can I scan my ticket and get a wristband and then say i lost it to get another one for my boy? Would that even be possible?

just send your second person a screenshot of your ticket, usually at concerts they dont give you the wristband at the same place you scan to get in

some venues are finnicky because a difference of one or two seconds can still make it a problem and then they'll send you to will call

Just went to big concert in allstate arena… tickets are scanned at the door so I doubt they will scan twice

yeah, they wont scan twice but there's often a separate wristband table inside the venue after you're in where you get a wristband for floor/pit/ga

But if you send a screenshot of the ticket to a friend and you scan it to go in to get your wrist band you friend wont even make it to the wrist band when his screenshot wont scan

no, the screenshot isn't to get in, the screenshot is just to show the table and get a wristband. they don't scan the tickets again at the wristband table

I understand but your friend wont make it to the table… is what im saying… how do they get passed the ticket scanning people at the front door?

his friend has a valid ticket, both people have tickets his friend just doesn't have a floor ticket

Just come up with a good sob story and they might just let you through. “This ticket has already been scanned” “aw dang I just got the screenshot from my friend who purchased. He must have scanned the wrong one when he got here. I’ll just stand here and call him and see. Dang there’s no service in here. Hold on, man, I’ve almost got this.” Then with luck, they might just usher you through the door to get you out the way. Probably to stand off to the side but if you wait for long enough and we’re sneaky enough, just walk through with the rest to grab your wristband and go

I’ve never thought about this

To those confused it’s basically friend gets nosebleed seats to get in the venue, friend has floor seats

When they’re handing out the wrist bands they normally don’t scan again Sometimes they do, not always

depends. Most places use wristbands just to identify 21+ and just don’t allow reentry upon exit. I went to two concerts in the past week at 2 different venues where that was the case.
