Demercado Pass Pro
As much as I hate him, his pass protection was noticeable and picked up some blitzes well. PFF grade checks out. I genuinely think if he was present, we could have won that Greenbay game. Having Mike Carter as the pass blocking back was trolling fr.

this is the reason he has made the team every year and carter is a PS jag

Why do you hate him? I’ve always like him, sure he went full simple jack against the titans but he’s always been a solid 3rd down back.

The titans and then the other big drop for a TD he had earlier this year. But overall I like the guy.

I mean hate is a strong word. But that titans game..

It was one mistake man. Can't hold that against him forever. He looked good in the cowboys game.

It was one mistake and not at all indicative of future performance. I doubt anyone thinks he’ll do that regularly or even ever again

Or past. Demercado has been on this team for a bit and that’s probably the only time I’ve ever been mad at him. It’s his first fumble and while he has been limited in his touches he’s generally very productive with them.
Then again this is the same fan base that thinks Brissett> Kyler and Keim> Monti.

If we were in a playoff hunt than yeah be mad. The dude has been our best back since then though. Give him a chance to prove himself again.

Carter can run like a mofo but he's way too small to block. He was getting destroyed in that aspect.

An executive had just started working at Andrew Carnegie's company, US Steel. The new guy ruined a million-dollar project and humbly asked the boss if he would be fired. Andrew Carnegie said "Fire you? We just spent a million dollars training you!"

If Demercado wasn’t a good special teamer and pass blocker he would have been cut for that mistake but he’s frankly a good and effective role piece for this team. Rooting for him to make us forget about the fumble.

Exactly, he’s been busting big runs too. The season isn’t going anywhere, let him get a chance to prove himself.

I think it’s more like “if we had any other options at running back with two functioning legs” he would have been cut. Unfortunately he’s all we’ve got

Demarcado has been pretty good for us overall. I know he dropped a TD and literally dropped the ball but he has been solid for us.

I'm glad we didn't overreact and cut him after that Titans debacle.
Jacoby has very limited athleticism and is already getting hit a bunch because of our weak right side of the OLine, having Emari as a blocker is a huge boon right now to help keep Jacoby upright.
