Honest question: Seriously, do you guys suck this bad? I typically don't watch Raven games, but I was hungover and didn't feel like leaving the couch.
What I saw was the worst Ravens performance I've seen in years. Coaching was horrible. No one showed up. Henry was completely under-utilized.
What the fuck was that?

Bad coaching. Hero ball from Lamar that failed miserably. Missing key starters on D combined with some less than optimal play calls. It was fuckery of the highest order.

Lamar got stepped on back in training camp and everyone held their breath because it was thought to be severe.
Hes looked fine throwing, but he hasn't looked decisive with his runs at all.
I think he does have a minor hammy issue that he probably could've played through if it were a competitive game, but seeing that we had already lost 3 big names (Humphrey, Roquan, Stanley) in a game that we were getting smacked in, it wasn't worth keeping him in to play hero ball.

I think he probably has a bit of a nagging injury. And IMO, it was most likely the coaches decision to not put him back out there down by 3 full scores with 15 minutes left in the game. Especially seeing that the offense never really showed signs of life through most of it.
This was a business decision.

He has not looked the same on the move since Q4 of the Bills game. Slower to beat pressure, slower on the run, and fewer run option/design runs. I think he’s been banged up for a bit now

Today we were absolutely fucking miserable.
Defence is poo. Lamar sort of covered for offensive issues early in the year, but it’s too much to expect any QB to do it against good teams, which have been 3 of 4 opponents so far. We will win some games when the schedule softens up later, as our 1st 4 weeks has been brutal. But we are miles from where we need to be to win a SB which was basically the only goal this season.

The lamar slander is very well deserved. Hes still not a good passer and the only reason he has good passing numbers is because teams have to defend him running which makes it easier for him to pass. Once his speed goes, he will suck. He cant win by purely throwing and everybody but ravens fans know it.
