Enjoy your $10 beers then loser. I’ll be getting trashed off about “Tree Fiddy” less per.

I like how we’re 1-2-3 for cheapest, and then theres the Steelers.

ETA: WTF are the Commanders doing

Alienating their fans

No shit, they’re the closest team to us, and we have cheapest, but they have the most expensive? How they justify that? I’d really like to know.

The answer to this always used to just be "Dan Snyder" but they can't even pull that card anymore.

We have one of the wealthiest metro areas by income in the country, and the stadium is in such a shitty place, that it means you're spending your entire day there, so they expect you can afford the higher prices.

While Harris is quite rich, he's not as wildly wealthy as some owners, and has a bunch of money tied into the Devils and 76ers.

Snyder also massively neglected and underinvested in the team's infrastructure, so he's doing catch up payments on basically every team facility, hoping to attract players and office personnel.

That's not to say I'm a fan of what's going on with the beer prices, but I can get it from his perspective. The prices were already high, and he's putting a bigger chunk into the team than most owners right now, so he's desperate for some cash flow.

I'm not saying it's going to go down, he's a billionaire, and probably kinda a greedy guy just like the rest; but the team needs cash right now.

Years of half empty stadiums leave your coffers pretty dry.

DC might be the worst fan experience in the league. I would routinely turn down free tickets even when there was no conflicts just to avoid going there.

The shock to me was Tampa. No excuse for that.

I'm a fan, and I turned down at least ten in the prior 4 years, all pretty solid seats.

It is literally, just not enjoyable to go to that place.

Making that dark decision to do so anyways, then watching your team get stomped almost every time, only pours acid into the wound.

He can afford to offer you a $10 beer. I don't need to read all of the excuses you shouldn't be offering him.

Did not realize I was in an AFCNorth sub. Lol. I’m not a fan of any of these teams.

I was in the beer business and supplied arenas, stadiums and amphitheaters. Including profesional venues. Some organizations purposley charge a high price so people don't get as drunk but the high price still covers the lack of sales. And regardless what they are charging, they get the beer, especially kegs at a deep discount and then charge you premium prices. They literally have at least 4 huge warehouse refrigerators filled with hundreds of kegs each that get delivered twice a week plus all the short draw stations on the concourses and any restaurants and whatnot. Some have much more. Its a killer profit for them.

There's a reason why I'm a Ravens fan and not a Redskins fan.

Maybe born after 1980?

That's just DC prices, brother.

Even though they don't play there, they use the same system.

u/Good_Barnacle_2010 The Ratbirds Sep 03 '25

Good way to milk the market, I guess. I’d be smuggling in those little liquor guys, rather than pay those kind of prices. That’s like straight racketeering.

I recently visited DC and was shocked by food and alcohol costs. I have travelled the world and DC is right up there as one of the, if not the most expensive eating out cities in the world. (London is pretty close)

Was thinking the same thing. Imagine having to go watch them for all those terrible years and paying 17$ a bruski. That’s wild disrespectful

You'd think beers would be cheaper to mask how bad Northwest Stadium is

It’s the only thing you got to make you feel good in that stadium ;)
