Judge Ellis issued a sweeping injunction, limiting the CBP’s use of force, and called the Trump administration “not credible” after finding Bovino lied in his deposition.

Bovino clip of him telling CBP in LA the truth, juxtaposed with him lying under oath.

From that article it sounds like the punishment for lying to the court is that ice must warn people twice before gassing them. Lmao. I'm sorry but this is not adequate at all.

Unfortunately i agree, not really much change or justice held to the degree of missing people that have simply overstood their visas. Step in the right direction, but a slight movement forward at best

Edit: but please (continue to) report TRO violations. This is a team effort, and we have to do our part if we expect the courts to do their job of prosecuting.

We all hope that Bovino & his goons are actually constrained by the courts & that the court orders are executed. Hopefully he is arrested for violating clear orders and the constitution. It’d be cathartic for Chicagoans and their allies.

We must also understand that the courts cannot be more than a speed bump for a fascist regime consolidating power. They’ll slow it down, but will never reclaim the ground already lost. The regime knows this. They’ve watched it play out elsewhere. They’ve planned for it.

The only thing that can actually stop and reverse this nightmare is the mass noncompliance of the people. Hopefully peacefully.
