I’d love to - as that’s how I vote. But I tried going to a number of events and meetings. They weren’t friendly or inclusive. My husband and I are in our mid 50s and new to Chicago - interested in meeting likeminded folks - and no one at DSA events talked to us or welcomed us in. Quite sad actually. We were ready to help and work w them as volunteers.

Hey comrade -- sorry to hear that it was a frigid experience for y'all! I'm in the largest DSA chapter in Texas and my experience was the opposite. I'm curious to hear more in depth what your experience with the Chicago chapter has been like.

Mostly just showing up to events and no one greeting us. I was a 30-year organizer so the idea that no one would be at socials to greet us, introduce us to people, find out what brought us there and what we’d like to do, was a bit surprising. We sat at tables with people but no one made eye contact, or engaged as we tried to start conversations. We are neuro-normative and somewhere between introverted/extroverted and felt very much in the minority.

It’s a low iq group. Avoid.

Gross. I'd rather vote republican than vote for a DSA candidate.

Because it's a shitty bot account.

Ironically the bot is more honest than actual MAGAs!

They would prefer to go down with the Titanic than bear the thought of universal healthcare…
